Join our call for licences to be refused
02 August 2007
In the coming weeks, Environment Minister John Gormley will be making a decision on the licensing of carted deer hunting and hare coursing. Please join us in our call to the Minister to refuse these licences.
Contact us now for copies of our campaign postcards to send to the Minister or get in touch with him directly at the address below. Please encourage as many of your friends as possible to voice their opposition to the licensing of these cruel activities.
Please contact Minister John Gormley and ask him to refuse licences for coursing and carted deer hunting.
Minister John Gormley
Dear Minister Gormley,
I support the call by the Irish Council Against Blood Sports for you to refuse licences for the Irish Coursing Club and the Ward Union carted deer hunt.
The Green Party promised to ban blood sports when in government. I hope that you will take this opportunity to make history for Irish animals by refusing to licence these blood sports groups.
Thank you very much, Minister. I look forward to your positive response.
